My 15-day trial period
has run out...
GALSync can detect previous installations of itself, and if you have
exceeded the 15-day trial period since the software was first installed you
may need to buy a new Licence.
How many GAL entries will GALSync synchronize?
In testing we have successfully synchronized over 15,000 entries and
we have had reports of GAL address lists larger than this being successfully
synchronized.
Can I hide synchronised GAL Contacts from my Outlook Contacts folder?
new Sept 2007! In Outlook 2000 use the following
instructions:
- In Outlook navigate to your Contacts folder.
- From the 'View' menu navigate to 'Current View' > 'Customize Current
View...'
- Click the Filter button.
- Click on the Advanced tab.
- Using the 'Field' button/drop-down menu select 'Frequently-used
fields' > 'Categories'.
- Change the 'Condition' drop-down menu from 'contains' to 'doesn't
contain'.
- Enter 'GAL' into the Value field (no apostrophes) and click the 'Add
to List' button.
- Click OK and then click OK again.
In Outlook 2003 use the following instructions:
- In Outlook navigate to your Contacts folder.
- From the 'View' menu navigate to 'Arrange By' > 'Custom...'
- Click the Filter button.
- Click on the Advanced tab.
- Using the 'Field' button/drop-down menu select 'Frequently-used
fields' > 'Categories'.
- Change the 'Condition' drop-down menu from 'contains' to 'doesn't
contain'.
- Enter 'GAL' into the Value field (no apostrophes) and click the 'Add
to List' button.
- Click OK and then click OK again.
