Options Page
This page allows for a number of different options to be set as follows:
Sync Options
- Automatically synchronize time - This option allows you to select whether
TimeSync automatically attempts to synchronize your device clock. Without this
option selected you will have to use either the 'Sync!' button or 'Sync!' menu
option to manually synchronize your clock. This option is selected by default.
- Sync Every - This option can be set to 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 or 120 minutes.
This is the interval at which TimeSync will attempt to synchronize the clock
on your mobile device. This option is set to 60 minutes by default.
- Retries - This is the number of times that a failed sync will be retried
per time server. This option is set to zero (0) by default.
- Dial if not connected - This option allows TimeSync to dial (for example
using GPRS) to establish a connection to the Internet before attempting to
connect to a time server. This option is selected by default.
Advanced Options
- Synchronize whilst device is sleeping - This option allows the device to
wake itself up to perform a synchronization even when the device is
'sleeping'. This option is selected by default. Note: This option could cause
you battery to drain faster than usual and will also causes the TimeSync
screen to pop just before each scheduled synchronization.
- Disable audio notifications - This option disables the two audio
notifications for either a successful or failed synchronisation. This option
is not selected by default.
- Allow operating system to close program - This option allows the operating
system to close the program without prompting you. This option is not selected
by default.
- Minimize program after soft-reset - This option causes TimeSync to
minimize when starting after you have soft-reset your device. This option is
not selected by default.
