About Stay Connected

You can use Stay Connected to keep your Windows Mobile connected to the Internet at all times.

With its rich, intuitive interface Stay Connected allows you to select from a number of options, including:

• Automatically dials if not connected.
• Optional audio notification of a failed connection.
• Configurable polling interval.
• Automatically runs in the background after a soft reset.

System Requirements

Your Windows Mobile device will require Microsoft .NET Compact Framework.

Status Page

This tab displays an overall view of your connection status. The top half of the screen displays your current connection status as follows:

• Connected
• Disconnected

In addition, the following settings can be configured in the lower half of the screen:

• Dial if not connected (clear this option to stop Stay Connected from automatically connecting your mobile device).
• Check connection every (default 5) seconds.

Use the 'Connect!' button to manually connect your device.

Unregistered software will also display a nag message at the bottom of this screen showing how may days you have left to evaluate Stay Connected before you will have to purchase a Registration key.

Options Page

This tab allows for a number of different options to be set as follows:

• Disable audio notifications - This option disables the audio notification for a failed connection. This option is not selected by default.
• Allow operating system to close program - This option allows the operating system to close the program without prompting you. This option is not selected by default.
• Minimize program after soft-reset - This option causes Stay Connected to minimize when starting after you have soft-reset your device. This option is not selected by default.

Today Screen Icon

Stay Connected displays an icon on your Today screen. This icon can be clicked to maximize Stay Connected.

Registration

You can trial Stay Connected for free for 15-days from when it is first activated. To continue using Stay Connected you will need to purchase a registration key.
