New Release...Mobile LoneWorker! Mobile LoneWorker is a powerful, multi-tiered .NET, client-server application designed for wireless mobile devices. It is designed to help protect employees working alone in potentially hazardous or risky situations. Employees who regularly work alone often utilize a 'buddy system' for reducing the risk associated with their job or situation. This involves checking in with a nominated colleague at regular intervals, causing an alarm to be raised if contact is not maintained at the required frequency. However, there are problems associated with this solution, not least of which the risk that human error could interfere with safe working practice. Mobile LoneWorker eliminates many of the risks associated with working alone by providing automated prompts to lone workers on mobile devices that are portable enough to carry with them at all times (PDA or Smartphone). |

Hard Reset Your Smartphone Resetting your Pocket PC might be easy but what about your Smartphone? Well if you have an i-mate Smartphone2, QTek 8080 or Orange SPV E200 here's how... First of all Slipstream Solutions cannot be held responsible for any damage done to your phone using these instructions. Hard resetting your Smartphone will wipe out all your personal information and applications on your device. 1. Turn off your phone and insert an SD card. 2. Hold down the Record/Memo button. 3. While holding down the Record/Memo button, hold down the Power button. 4. When the screen displays 'Card Found' quickly press and hold down the Action key (joystick). 5. When the screen displays 'Press any key to enter bootloader' release the Record/Memo button. Then (and this is the tricky bit) quickly release then press the Action key again, then release the Power button. 6. If you see a grey screen with a list of numbers release the Action button and press the number 8 to hard reset your phone. 7. If you see a multi-coloured screen you will have to repeat the above process all over again (it might take a few attempts to get it right!). Good luck! |
