GALSync Version History ----------------------- 1.0.0 Initial release. ... Version tracking history introduced. 1.10.0 Bug fix release. This release features a variety of bug fixes. Improved error handling (try/catch) in the both the NEW/UPDATE and DELETE loops should reduce the chance of a lock-up occuring. The filtering rules have also been revised, again to avoid lock-ups but also to fix various problems with the filtering logic. 1.10.1 Bug fix release. This release features bug fixes with the filtering rules that could cause either a lock-up or could cause duplicate items to be created. 1.10.2 Enhancement release. This release introduces a new 'Mark as Private' option. When selected, this option will cause all GAL Contacts to be marked as Private. In addition the 'Pocket PC' sync option has now been completely removed. 1.10.3 Pocket PC Driver menu option removed. 'Mark As Private' option is now checked for existing Contacts sync'ed to Outlook and is updated. Increased error handling for situations where there is a lack of access to the hidden 15-day trial key. 1.10.4 Fixed bug where zero existing Contacts in mailbox could cause sync to stall. 1.10.5 Improved synchronisation for various different formats of display name: 'First, Last', 'Last, First' etc 1.10.6 Fixed bug where contacts removed from the GAL where not being removed from sync'ed Contacts. 1.10.7 Added a new feature to save sync'ed GAL contacts to a sub-folder instead of the main Contacts folder. 1.10.8 Removed redundant ActiveSync and RAPI code. 1.10.9 Added a new feature to allow sync'ed GAL contacts to replace existing Contacts (i.e. if GALSync finds a contact with a matching name and email address it will change the existing Contact into a sync'ed GAL Contact). Fixed a bug where a new GAL Contact was not created if a Contact with the same name already exists. 1.10.10 Enhancement: This version includes a change to the default behaviour when a blank GAL field is checked against a populated Contacts field. This is often the case when users populate GAL Contact fields themselves, for example the Notes field or phone number or address fields. In previous versions these fields would be over- written with a blank field from the GAL but in this version these fields (by default) are not over-written if already populated. There is however a new product option to 'allow blank GAL fields to overwrite populated fields' which will reverse this default behaviour to the original.
